Fed up of my wg311T wireless pci card unable to provide an n- connection (does a/b/g), I decided to get a wired network card. Fitted it all up and got it running. Only to realise I already had built in network connections on the motherboard!

So Apple announced the new Mac Pro. Macworld's coverage was up the standard that stopped me subscribing to the mag a while ago. Spot the error: ClicketyFeel the external connectivity power.

Microsoft delays Xbox One launch in Asia by a whole year | | | | Quote: If you thought November 2013 was too long to wait, bear a thought for Asian gamers who will apparently have to wait those six months, plus an additional twelve, to pick up their Xbox One. According to Alan Bowman, Microsoft's Regional VP for Sales and Marketing in Asia, the new console will launch in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and India around late 2014. (Note the lack of Japan on that list, we're still checking with Microsoft on that.) These are all regions that have been marked as gaming high-growth areas by Microsoft -- the VP added that the Xbox 360 became the top-selling console in Asia this year. The company's also pointed to its next-generation Kinect sensor, one that will work in "dramatically reduced" room spaces and, according Bowman, will be better attuned to Asian gamers who might not have living room space in their homes.
Update: We've just heard back from a Microsoft spokesperson who told us the following:
"Microsoft does plan to launch Xbox One, the ultimate new-generation all-in-one entertainment system, in Japan -- we look forward to confirming timing and other details at a later stage." | | | | |

Steam(sic) powered graphis(sic)? And that was just the first colume(sic). Oh, you mean "FireWire" where it should be "Thunderbolt". Well, apart from being different they're just the same really aren't they? So that's approaching a 10% word error rate for some sentences, plus one complete change of meaning. My phone actually does better with voice recognition. I wonder if it was dictated from site?

Localisation and possibly lining up exclusives would take time, but it's still a kick in the nuts.

Yes it does not help Microsoftt either. From everything that I have seen about the Xbox One and the PS4 I think that Microsoft have launched a fail fleet. The PS4 looks positively excellent in comparison.

The Week putting it's price up just as I'm sorting out my direct debits - now I'm tempted to cancel it. ION, 'We're sending you your missing Superman comic.' No, you sent me a Justice League comic, the one you said was the Superman subscription originally

Me fractured my fibula on the dancefloor at a wedding on the weekend. Currently in a full leg cast awaiting an appointment with the fracture clinic to find out what exactly is wrong and how long it will take to heal.

Cheers. Hopefully it won't be as bad as when I tore my Achilles a couple of years ago. That went on forever.

Right at the top. Buggered the tendons and ligaments in my ankle too, but they feel a lot better now, though it's hard to tell in a cast. There's been talk of a possible operation to reattach some muscle, but tbh there was no pain or discomfort from the affected area, they nearly didn't x-ray it.
How exactly is hard to say. I think I was doing some one-legged dancing while holding the other leg. I was definitely too drunk and the dancefloor, being in a marquee in a field, had a slight slope to it.

I know it's cruel to laugh, but that is quite an achievement! I hope it heals up well for you. Ouch!

Had a BBQ last weekend, by all accounts everyone had a good time, plenty of drink etc. Got bitten by something while I was on the manly fire + meat duty, thought nothing of it at the time as it felt like a spot. Fast forward to Thursday, it's swelled up, gotten very red and infected, went to the walk in today after work to try and sort out the infection and bring the swelling down after it got to the size of a mini cd with all the swelling! On the plus side, they've redone the hospital near where I work and not only is it very swish but I was able to be seen in under half an hour which is a lot better than the gps locally which are within 3 weeks... if you're lucky
