Motorhead and Saxon to tour UK

Quote:
Motorhead and Saxon will tour the UK together in November, it’s been confirmed.

Lemmy’s band have listed seven dates, with Biff Byford’s outfit joining them on six, and Skew Siskin providing support. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday.

US metal band Huntress recently revealed Lemmy had written lyrics for a track on their upcoming album. It’s called I Want To [LIFTED] You To Death, of which the iconic frontman says: “The first time I heard Jill Janus’ voice it was phenomenal. I wrote the lyrics from her point of view – the huntress.”

Saxon released 20th album Sacrifice earlier this year and completed a UK tour at the beginning of May. Motorhead play the Download festival at Donington on June 15.
Motorhead and Saxon UK tour

Nov 13: Nottingham Royal Concert Hall
Nov 14: Newcastle City Hall
Nov 16: London O2 Academy Brixton
Nov 17: London O2 Academy Brixton (without Saxon)
Nov 19: Wolverhampton Civic Call
Nov 20: Manchester O2 Apollo
Nov 22: Glasgow O2 Academy

The classic Superman outfit is better than the new one:

It might work on film, but it looks like they threw the kitchen sink at it when you see shots like that.

I saw that a while ago (when the suit was first shown). The new suit has the same problems as the new Batman Origins suit - namely there's a huge blank area in the middle and there's the crotch bulge. The "outside underpants" thing is a bit silly but it did break up the monotony of the suit.

It says it doesn't need power or internet. I wonder if it's Bluetooth or NFC? If it's BT I'm assuming they've done the security right.

It says Bluetooth but that would mean I actually would have to turn mine on. It is very rarely on now.
