Is Oblivion worth watching?
I avoid films with Tom Cruise in them.
A bloke in work says it's just boring, and that was the impression I got from the promo material tbh.
Yes, it's worth watching.
Obviously, if you don't like Tom Cruise then you'll not watch it, but it's an original story, which are few and far between these days, so I saw it at the cinema and I'm not sorry I did so.

Got two trailers for you for space based films.
First up is Gravity, directed by Alfonso Cuarón with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
Second one is Europa Report, which is being billed as a space film with realism in the story of a three year journey to the Jupiter moon in the title.
Here is the IMDb page for Europa report, because the trailer really doesn't give much away.

If you ignore the perfectly black parts, I think it's only about 15 seconds long

I've chosen not to read the IMDB, but from those few seconds it looks like something I would like to see on the big screen.

I liked one of the always so enlightening Youtube comments: "americans think Europa is a country".
Although I'm not anti-American enough to not watch their films

The first film looked quite pretty too, but I have doubts about the plot being anything interesting or especially original. Of course I could be wrong. Maybe there is some green slime taking over the planet.

Yep, me too, though the list of films I currently want to see seems to be ever increasing.

I think the trailer perfectly outlines for you what could possibly go wrong. (8+D

Well, if you've seen Children of Men, then you'll at least know that the director has form in the genre.
That's gotta count for something, no?

I'll have to put that on my to-do list. It completely passed me by I'm afraid!

I'll be astounded if they even capture a quarter of what made either film so good; horror and comedy together today via a big studio?
