Yeah, but that would be much harder to do. A self distruct would have been relatively simple.

I was thinking more along the lines of c4 or semtex.

I'm presuming he can get a license. Mythbuster use explosives all the time.

Bloke in video is Canadian, and is operating in Canada. Therefore he's foreign, and could be seen as an enemy combatant if he's cocking about with explosives. Things don't end well for such people.
