OK - some quick first impressions: I really enjoyed it. It's a good movie to just unwind and enjoy. You must not over think Transformers. What you should do, instead, is marvel at the wide variety of eye candy - this is an effects movie. If you're seeking enlightenment about the human spirit and all that jazz, look elsewhere. Still here? Great. It's brilliant. The opening sequence is great fun. The Witwicky family are good fun, some nice comic moments there. Putting on my nerd hat for a moment - there's a few too many 'generic' Decepticons. Not enough naming, although there's a hint of character development between Starscream and Megatron. Oh, and this film does suffer for the Jar Jar Binks syndrome, only this time it's twins. Typical Michael Bay really. Lots of stuff being blown up, Megan jiggles frequently and there's at least one slow motion shot of a man screaming on a battle field. For pure spectacle I can't fault it, for really cool robots blowing stuff up and turning into cool cars, where else are you going to go? If that's all you want with some added eye candy in the shape of Megan Fox or Shia LeBeuf, then sit back and enjoy. I did. The computer models have improved as well, perhaps not by a massive amount, but enough to be noticeable. I'll draw the line there, as it'd be hard to say much more without giving away the plot.

Thats not far off what I've been hearing. Lots of robots and solid action a la Micheal Bay but annoying twin robots (maybe one for the kids) and some forced humour and blatant 'look at how sexy I am' camera work on Megan Fox. I'm still hoping its going to be cracking though!

Just watched this film and its utterly "vandilised" with illuminati/masonic symbolism, yet again freemasons/elite flood a film with their junk. The other people I was with didnt even notice it, you could see the illuminated cap pyramid, plus the all seeing eye throughout the film. and other stuff to do with masons. Creepy.

So to what purpose then would it serve to show illuminati/mason/whatever symbolism in TF2?

well in this case hollywood is just taunting people that aliens really did built the pyramids and how there is aliens and a massive worldwide masonic influence etc, hard to explain but it only taunts those who look deeper into the film and those who can spot all the subliminal messages. and not see it from the surface, i.e family action film for all when its much more subliminal etc anyone seen shrek? I loved how they put a secret mcdonalds advert in it plus theres witchcraft symbols that you can spot if you pause at a certain moment. prob think im talking rubbish so ill stop there

I disagree, watch the film again and you can see it all so damn clear. so clear it actually made me think "wow, they even did it to transformers too "

Can I have a list I can print out and take with me please? The pyramids/alien thing - that's been a staple of 'alt' archeology for at least 40 years. Nothing to do with the Masons. Also, the Great Pyramid does have a cap on the top of it, but it's bugger all to do with the Masons, and rather more to do with the locals not being arsed to nick it. The entire thing was encased, and then the locals started robbing bits for other buildings. The only Masonic conspiracy there is when Achmed the stone worker was asked where he got the marble. 'Pyramid? What pyramid? I just found this lying about!' I do worry about your sources sometimes.

If you look into symbology though half of these alien/wiccan/mason/nazi symbols have they're origins in something compltetely different. A small extract: "Popular among conspiracy theorists is the claim that the Eye of Providence shown atop an unfinished pyramid on the Great Seal of the United States indicates the influence of Freemasonry in the founding of the United States. This was dramatised in the 2004 Disney film National Treasure. However, the first Masonic use of the Eye dates to 14 years after the creation of the Great Seal, and the Masonic version does not incorporate a pyramid, although the enclosing triangle is often interpreted as one. Furthermore, among the three members of the original design committee for the Great Seal (or any of the ones that followed it), only Benjamin Franklin was a Mason. Indeed, many Masonic organizations have explicitly denied any connection to the creation of the Seal" And the pentagram, for example, has innocent meaning long before being adopted by Paganism, etc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PentagramBratty have you got a link to the Shrek MaccyD's advert thing you mentioned?
