I agree, I have had a nasty case of food poisoning with complications but resolved it myself. I have painkillers but rarely need them anyway. My last headache was more than twenty years ago. The elderly need them as do amnesiacs. Though for most people it is not necessary, though I can understand young mums with babies needing them, as they have a lot to cope with at that stage. If I take a list I keep everything very brief. In and out within 5 minutes if possible. I know doctors can be busy. I am looking to get a letter from the ministry to cover my medical issues when I travel. I will be doing that through the MP or directly rather than through a doctor. Though for my ATOS medical they wanted a letter from my doctor re transport costs to the medical. Yet I have never discussed my amnesia with my GP, so he would have no idea about the complications that it presents. So why would he know? My condition can be completely managed if allowed, without ever bothering the GP, yet there are times when you have to tell him what he needs to do because he will not know. Yes scans are also very expensive and could curtail some other treatment. My CT scan was done as part of a research project as amnesiacs are rare and all they found were enlarged tricorns? Though the consultant had already diagnosed diffuse brain damage without needing to scan.

Out of curiosity, have they been advertising more recently? I wondered was it just a coincidence when a full page ad turned up in Private Eye's Thatcher special

It appeals to me on so many levels. Lego, geekiness, moz and not least in a colour that my wife likes as apparently it brings out the blue in my eyes. All in all 13 quid well spent I feel.

Such a mix, I wonder how much of that £13 went in royalties to different companies

So nearly bought that one, mostly because it's named after one of my favourite Moss lines.

http://inhabitat.com/window-socket-port ... ectronics/ Looks great - I love the idea. I suspect it will be quite useless in real life.

I had something similar called Solio and it was not always totally practical.

I have some antireflective glass about, A4 size. I think there is potential to use it to get great shots(running water, seeds or smtg) but I'm not sure what exactly. Any ideas?

It's no good if they're actually trying for it.
