For me, trailers should give the idea/feel/general view of the film. It needs to be representative and it needs to be accurate. If there were a seminal moment in a story that was portrayed in a trailer but cut from the film, I would be pissed off about it. Though not enough to complain to ASA.

Trailers cannot be viewed in the same way as adverts for products. Lynx advertises to imply that it will get you women but it doesn't explicitly state it, otherwise there would be complaints. Ditto with similar adverts. Others have disclaimers at the bottom stating it's a simulation or similar, or that the footage is or isn't represntative of gameplay.

If stuff is shown from the film, I'm happy. If it's cut from the film, it should have disclaimers stating it is merely representative or some scenes may not be in the feature release.

Wesley Snipes released from prison http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/22050473

Best known for Blade, pfft. Demolition Man!

It'd be good to see him get back on track, even if was an Expendables-type affair.

He probably is best know for the Blade character/films.
Passenger 57 and Demolition Man are the films that spring to my mind when I hear his name though.

I wasn't being entirely serious :)

Passenger 57 has always been on when a bunch of mates are there, thus I've never been able to watch it without laughing really

I have a fantastic local video shop. It doesn't generally have more than 3 copies of new releases, unlike another shop around the corner that routinely has well over 20 copies of each new release. What it has instead is a massive selection. There are sections for; Book to Film, Films by Country, Films by Director, Films by Genre, TV Series, etc.

I randomly picked up Expendables 2 from the Action Hero Films by Actor section, not with the intention of watching but to read the synopsis. I forgot where I picked it up from and then couldn't work out where to put it as there was a sub-section for every actor in the movie.

Hunt the Shunt vs. Lauda? Could be interesting, but the guy looks and sounds nothing like Hunt, but there again, since when has that stopped Hollywood?

It's not that bad of a resemblance:

I'm glad they got someone who can act a bit than they got someone in solely because they look just like Hunt.

Marvel's next blockbuster shooting this summer
08/04/2013
Marvel are in pre-production on their next blockbuster, to shoot in the UK this summer. Guardians of the Galaxy is based on the original Marvel comics superheroes of the 1960s, charged with protecting the universe.

Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana are reported to be among the cast, with filming due to begin in late June at Shepperton and Longcross.

The screenplay is by Nicole Perlman and Chris McCoy, and the director is James Gunn, whose previous credits include Slither and Super. Casting director Reg Poerscout-Edgerton is among the key UK production personnel on onboard, working alongside the US’ Sarah Finn.

Shooting over here has already proved a hit for the Marvel team, with features such as Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor: The Dark World utilising UK studios and talent. It has recently also been reported that The Avengers 2 is due to film at Pinewood/Shepperton early next year.

Does the mainland have decent tax breaks (I can't remember)? I know NI will fund just about anything on ny sort of screen, and the Republic gives decent breaks.
