Rocky Horror Show writer Richard O'Brien thinks of himself as 70% male and 30% female. What exactly does that mean?

Was gonna post this, I'd maybe stick a NSFW title on it just in case anyone finds themselves having to explain that picture

It's on the BBC website so not sure "nsfw" it truly is.

He never seemed queer in the Crystal maze but I never saw any of his other work.

Meh, whatever floats yer boat.

Still trying to figure why the fact the writer of rocky horror has gender issues qualifies as news.

Radio 4 had some discussions about the whole gender identity issue today. It seems that there are multitudes of different names for the various groups, for different genders and non genders. Some do not think of themselves as any particular gender. I suppose it is similar to the sexuality spectrum from gay to straight with bisexuality somewhere in-between. It all depends on what the person wants to think of themselves as. If they live for two years as a man they can call themselves a man under the current laws. Same if they want to be a woman. There are a number of things such as solely living as the sex of their choice and psychiatrists reports. One of the things that they questioned was that if he committed a crime which set of gaols would he be sent to? Male or female?

Have you watched it again recently? He's as camp as a row of tents.

And for most of Rocky Horror he is just creepy. Great film still.

You've never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show? Where on earth have you been? It's a cult classic.

It's not something you watch but something you experience. The best way to do that is at a late night cinema showing. Just remember to take a newspaper ;)

Apparently the stage version is awesome to go to as the audience get dressed up. Just in black of they don't fancy going the whole nine yards.
