Yeah but wearing 'magnetic' boots so you can remain the right way up in the other world? That's the dumbest, laziest thing I've ever seen in a film, it's like someone wearing hooks on their heels because they're travelling to Australia..

But you're OK with men who travel through space and time in a telephone box, killer robots covered in artificial flesh (because metal things can't travel through time) who travels back from the future to kill the mother of a future revolutionary, people who live in a virtual reality to keep them docile so a machine intelligence can use them as batteries, dragons, evil wizards with no noses and hobbits. Yes?

What I get up to at the weekend is none... Oh, sorry.

It's impossible to find five stills of The Raid where somebody isn't being elbowed in the face. If the sequel can't live up to that, I'm out.

I actually preferred it when it was a shooter, but it's still one hell of a punch-up :)

This was the draft after Kevin Smith left, so whether this was a ground up re-write or just a progression of Smith's script... who can say?

Johnny Depp Will Play Whitey Bulger In Barry Levinson's BLACK MASS

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/60724

I'm familiar with the story and I'd like to see it as a film, but I'm pretty tired of Depp playing Depp in 'factional' crime films :(
