Morning. You know it's a bit parky out when the central heating stays on longer than the timer is set for. Penny-puss update: She's over her constipation. At least, she felt a good deal lighter when I picked her up yesterday! The worry was she wasn't eating, and therefore not getting her medication. Today, I've started to lower the steroid dose as the vet recommended, and Penny scoffed her breakfast. That makes us happier all round. Yesterday I finished a monumental photo editing session. There's a moral in there somewhere about trying to hide distracting backgrounds during the shoot instead of relying on post-processing. Anyway, back to the never-ending saga of that web site, I guess. Onwards and sideways.

Morning all,
Forty-five minutes to complete a 15-20 minute journey warrants a shout out to the numpties - clear your frikkin windscreens before you set off, you bunch of idle tw@ts. An eight inch port hole does not qualify! If any of you had bothered to make the effort, she would have seen the traffic cone long before it disappeared into her wheel-arch, and you would have had sufficient peripheral vision not to hit the offside rear corner of her car! /rant
Have a good one.

So cold in our office again this morning, even by recent standards. If it wasn't for the fact that the company would be completely screwed, I think there'd be a fair few people heading home. Brrrrr!

From HSE ,Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 : Approved Code of Practice "Regulation 7 Temperature in indoor workplaces (1) During working hours, the temperature in all workplaces inside buildings shall be reasonable. (2) A method of heating or cooling shall not be used which results in the escape into a workplace of fumes, gas or vapour of such character and to such extent that they are likely to be injurious or offensive to any person. (3) A sufficient number of thermometers shall be provided to enable persons at work to determine the temperature in any workplace inside a building. ACOP 42 The temperature in workrooms should provide reasonable comfort without the need for special clothing. Where such a temperature is impractical because of hot or cold processes, all reasonable steps should be taken to achieve a temperature which is as close as possible to comfortable. ‘Workroom’ in paragraphs 43 to 49 means a room where people normally work for more than short periods. ACOP 43 The temperature in workrooms should normally be at least 16 degrees Celsius unless much of the work involves severe physical effort in which case the temperature should be at least 13 degrees Celsius. These temperatures may not, however, ensure reasonable comfort, depending on other factors such as air movement and relative humidity. These temperatures refer to readings taken using an ordinary dry bulb thermometer, close to workstations, at working height and away from windows. You need to do something.

More white stuff outside. Hope the new hedge in the garden is ok. Weather is talking of temperatures up to about 12°C at the weekend, then we should be able to water them.

Morning. Going for a blood test this morning, followed - hopefully - by a slap-up cooked brekkers. I think the car will have to run for half an hour to defrost it. Onwards and sideways.

Very cold again. Apparently something will be done about it. I think I need some thin/fingerless gloves.

Evening all.
Finally got round to printing out the labels for Christmas cards. Now all I've got to do is write the bloody things.
Anywho, have a nice evening folks.

Evening all Been one of those days so far. Woke up late, idiots on the road all the way (25MPH on a main road) nothing at work went right today, found out a mate's Disco - to which we're all rather attached - needs a hell of a lot of work (About £20k in a garage) and now one of my ribs has just popped out of place to the point of being visible. Waiting for t'other half to make a brew so I can shovel diazapam and tramadol down my neck. Oh well. Docs and MRI scan next Monday.

Greetings.
Onwards and sideways. Not quite as nippy this morning, though I think we'll put the heat on again for a bit.
*wave*
