I'd like to think most of that's achievable. :)
In which case, if it's what you really want, then I wish you all the very best in getting it. (8+)

Same goes for anyone in this thread … if it's what you really want and you can get it, then great. \•/

Many of the things listed require 10% luck and 90% willpower.

As per the Proff's post, most of us reading this are already pretty privileged, so there's not much holding us back if we're determined to work for it.

I tend to find it's the other way round.

No I think it is that way around. If you want something bad enough you can probably do it – you just need to make the sacrifices

A few years back I took a year’s sabbatical from work top sail and loved it but I needed to sell my house and live on next to nothing for 4 years before i went and did it to pay for it

SWMBO last year was made redundant and took 3 months off volunteering for a Charity – that she now works for. Yes we have taken a cut in overall income but she loves it so we cut our cloth to match our new income

Planned life changes are a world apart from acquiring a disability through a road accident. I had to deal with that years ago. I am still adjusting to it.

I'm well on my way to doing what I want, like Caz I'm already considering going part-time at that point (owning a house outright) :)
