Mr. bish and I are going for an evening picnic on Friday at the beach around 7pm.

We want to watch the sunset after having some food, which is more like our dinner on the beach, that a picnic. Haha.

This is the list I have so far.

FOOD
Rice noodles cooked in soya sauce with garlic.
Lightly fried chicken breasts with a gluten free flour coating, cubed.
Lightly fried chopped peppers, potatoes, green beans and mushrooms.

FRUIT
Strawberries, cantaloupe melon, apple, blueberries and oranges, in a fuit salad, so they are chopped.

SWEETS
Chocolate moose.
Juice and water

STUFF
2 picnic bowls.
2 sets of picnic cutlery.
1 food server.
2 picnic cups.
Picnic blanket.
Fire wood and firelighters.
Large parasol incase it rains.
Extra blankets incase it's cold.

I'm trying to make this rememerable and romantic, he don't have a clue about this. It's going to be a suprise.

I'd take wine, but I want to drive, because Sam did last week, and I know he'd rather water with his food.

Do you think it's going a bit over the top for a surpise?

Candles - I did think about that, but then I thought about the fire? :/
Radio - Noo, I've got some nice cello and violin pieces on my iPhone.
Extra plates - I'm putting the food in one container, so we can just scoop it out into bowls. And throw away the containers, it's the ones you get like at the takeawake, silver with a paper top.
Wind breaker/shelter thing - :? Where do I get one of those?

Candle for atmos, a fire for warmth
Take a battery powered dock then, nothing worse than moblephone speaker audio
Plates- Nothing worse than fruit on the same plate as meat/main courses
Windbreaker things are available from the seaside shops
