I have renounced my heathenistic ways and become religious, I urge everyone else to do the same, praise Tarvu:

Do you have to ingest or smoke something beforehand?

The say some things are too good to be true, and that is a warning all internet buyers should follow.

My brother-in-law just had his card cloned after tyring to buy a too good to be true IPS TFT for his Dad for Christmas.

Any clues as to where his card was cloned?

No idea. All I got was a facebook message saying it had happened. I haven't spoken to him yet.

Petrol stations and restaurants are the prime spots for cloning credit cards.

That wasn't for an LG 27" E27EA33V by chance was it? (Was listed in a few reputable... and less than reputable places as a 27" 2560x1440 screen with HDMI for £200)

Glad I placed my order via Google Wallet!

I have often wondered why petrol stations can't have pre-pay at pump rather than hoping people will be honest and go inside in pay. This is standard in the US and it's not rocket science. They wouldn't get people driving off then.

I used a petrol station here recently that had the facility.

The ones I use usually have had it for years. They've recently upgraded them - they used to be 'put your card in and you can take as much petrol as you like up to 99 quid' now they do that plus you can actually type in an amount before you start and the pump will dispense that value of petrol and then stop.

We have a Tesco Express near us with petrol station which is really busy. They don't have it. Suckers

But surely you risk of sales of shop stuff like choc bars if they were all pay at pump? Both a tesco I've used in B'mouth and a couple of Shells in Brum both have had the pay@pump option. I prefer pumps that give you a choice rather than a mandatory pay@pump only.

Depends if you're looking at it from the customer point of view or the petrol stations. I'm sure there could be a set up where you swipe your card to pay for the fuel but have the the option to complete the sales in the shop if you wished to purchase other goods.

Build vending machines into the petrol pumps.

Also make the pumps automated so you don't have to get out so more time to eat rubbish.

I'm picturing the people from Wall-E for some reason :D
