Just updated one iMac to Mountain Lion and three hours later I am still updating all the apps. Even with Macupdate Desktop to identify out of date apps it has taken more than an hour to update 45 out of date apps.

You have that many apps?! Something that's suprised me in transitioning to a new laptop is how few apps I actually use/need. Generally I'm only installing as I need them, and I'm finding it quite refreshing to have a nice clean machine, and to be able to install things a bit differently this time around. My $PATH is sane again!

Yes even my menu bar crosses more than half the screen with tiny icons. With my memory problems I find that I use some apps that do things that I cannot remember the keyboard sequences for.

Never heard of them, as as far as I'm aware, never heard the track either.

It's the fact it sounds like a half-assed Sting song (and some people hate him  ), has one hit wonder written all over it, and was played to death on radio that got my goat.

I never listen to the radio, which might explain me not having heard the track.
If it's used in an advert, I may have heard it and not realised it.

No offence taken, but why not click the link?

And how come you don't listen to the radio? I only listen to it in work cos I'm basically forced to, my own stereo isn't even tuned in

Because I'm assuming that it points to the song that we are discussing, and any music that sells so much these days normally has very little interest in me or my tastes, and likewise me in it.

Can't listen to it in work as we have to use the phone a lot and it's a big open plan office, I listen to my iPod when driving.

Well many artists are One hit wonders. It may well become one. Yes he sounds like Sting. It is not that bad a track. I heard it first on a TV show, but don't you mean it "got my gotye"? ;)

Oh Google translate.
"Borrelen op streekmarkt" apparently means "Bubbling on regional market".
Which can't be right.
