I dunno if anyone else is interested in the BBC's greatest drivers list. But the've gone and put Fangio as no2. Does that mean John Surtees is the greatest? Obviously I don't know much, but I had been led to believe that Juan Manuel Fangio was peerless... along with Jim Clark

In fairness, are you forgetting that incredible season he had when he first started? The guy's an amazing driver, often let down with the mechanical side of things.

Well, that was rather good, a deserved win for JB - I'd have preferred Alonso to take the title (even though I'm not exactly his biggest fan) but vettel did well to recover from being shunted round on lap 1. In all honesty, both drivers deserved the title this year.

What a race. I also don't remember the last time I enjoyed a season that much and had so many thoughts about the season ahead with Lewis moving, Schumi retiring (again) and Jake going off to do the football.
