This could be a very good thing for the BBC.

Movies streamed down the internet for free!

Genius!

Granted, not the best movie in the world but still...

Sometimes, just sometimes, it's nice being in the United Kingdom. God bless Auntie! :D

Oh god tell me about it.

My mum and sister watch it every night but I don't really see the attraction. There is a bit of talent in there though, so I do sit through it occasionally.

The last time I turned on my tv was 2 weeks ago, and that was to play on my xbox360

Shows how much spare time I have had recently

Well I can't watch it because my F*CKING ISP IS BLOCKING IPLAYER!!!!

CPWH / Tiscali / Pipex / F2S or whatever you want to call them.

Anyone know who the owner is, and where they live? I might go and pay them a visit.

Why are they doing that?

And are you able to use some sort of proxy?

Bandwidth and traffic shaping. Bittorrent is throttled to nothing from 5pm, slowly getting faster until it's back to full speed about 2am. Youtube totally sucks in the evening too. I'm rather gob-smacked that they reduce iPlayer to Zero bps though - hence my post in the help section! Surely traffic shaping should prioritise real time packets over everything else?!

It's probably fine now... so I can watch the 2 hour film when I should be sleeping
