My mate just passed his 5th dan TKD grading today.
I think that officially makes him a Master.
Quite some achievement.

Just found out that my ex-house mate passed his 2nd dan in TKD as well.

I'm not sure how you got TKD and TDK confused. I originally read it on the piephone and misread it as JKD but that was because of a smudge on the screen at that point.

Nothing offensive, but rude/funny would be what I'm after.

I read that as 5th dan The Dark Knight. 5th Dan Batman impressed.
And that's the issue with using abbreviations.
If I wanted to talk about The Dark Knight, I'd type that out, if I wanted to talk about Taekwondo, I'd type TKD.
Some people seemingly don't ever type the full names of films out when discussing them online, but I suspect that if they were talking about them face-to-face with someone they'd not abbreviate the name of the film.
Horses for courses, I guess.

Mark

I actually say TDK in the real world with movie weirdo mates for brevity.

ANH, ESB and ROTJ become Star Wars (just for you old school fans (Mark)), Empire and Jedi.

And I thought everybody actually said TKD in the real world too...? :?

My Twitter suggestion still stands: DWP Compliance Team. That would scare the [LIFTED] out of my neighbours.

See to me, that's an SA60 which sounds awesome with Dolby B or Dolby S if you've got a decent enough tape deck!

My current guest network is MI5 but DWP might be better.

Hot Toys Alien vs Predator : Samurai Predator

Makes no sense whatsoever, still awesome. And I pretty much hated the designs from Predators...
