If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

He meant Middle Earth, of which Mordor is but a part.

One does not simply walk into Mordor. ........ One flies.

No job as of yet, just a change of scenery. It was starting to get hot and humid in Port Douglas so I'll happily take advantage of the cooler weather whilst my circumstances are changing. I was looking forward to the seeing the comedy Air NZ in-flight safety briefing 'live', but they've changed it to something that would only be funny if you watched lots of TV due to the references. Very disappointing.

I've been here a few weeks now:

I think there are more British traits here than in Oz.
Marmite is easier to find. :)
Indicating when driving is optional.
If you don't like the weather then wait 10 minutes and it will change.
I'm waiting to hear back from two interviews last week.

Currently working casual and cash-in-hand for a removals firm, driving a medium rigid truck around the Auckland region. Great way to learn the roads, but an 18 hour shift yesterday has left me broken today.

I've had two Springs this year, one in Denmark and now one in NZ.

I had to think about that for far too long!! I was thinking spring as in Boing said Zebedee*...

Fingers crossed for the jobs.

The weather sounds more like Wales, and for the same reasons I guess. The weather has to come over hills and mountains to reach you.

*Auto-correct wanted to change Zebedee into Beelzebub...

Mordor being the worst most miserable aspect of Middle Earth and therefore the place that Bratty fixates on.   :x

$40 to see a Doctor. :o

However you get seen almost immediately, and prescriptions for antibiotics are $3, about 1.5 of your GB pounds.

Branston pickle is also common, and by the looks of it, to some extent they celebrate the 5th November.
