A Big Marvel Name Is Confirmed For GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY And THE AVENGERS 2!! http://www.aintitcool.com/node/58431They might be making it so you pretty much have to see Guardians. Hope it's good if that's the case, and not an ad for Avengers like IM2. ... Joss Whedon's Avengers 2 struggles revealed http://www.totalfilm.com/news/joss-whed ... s-revealedFrom him I could actually believe that

Love the poison Ivy one!
As for Guardians, I'm completely naive to them and didn't know who the baddy was at the very end of Avengers. Anyone have a good place for understanding other than wikipedia?

I'm just gonna go with whatever's in the film, there's an awful lot of history from what I can gather in the books...

New TMNT designs http://store.playmatestoys.com/Teenage- ... rchSize=12Surprisingly the Turtles look quite well, though it seems to be to the detriment of everyone else. What is the fascination with Manga-fying something then making it skinny? Shredder looks like some hipster that's come out of the closet I'm hoping it works better as a cartoon, it's good to see a mixture of previous iterations - the Foot look to be human there rather than robots, and Krang has gone back to the original cartoon's styling, which I actually prefer to the Utrom bollocks and what it did to the respective iterations. Though Splinter (possibly the most hated character ), seems to have come straight from

I'm usually not keen on 'armoured' Bat-outfits, but this is cool: http://www.playimaginative.com/BatmanbyJimLee.html

Damn you pcernie. After reading about that, I was up all night on superheroeshype looking at the Batsuit thread.
I've always thought Batman should be armored. I also don't want the suit too light like in Arkham Asylum. No to underpants on the outside too. I've always loved Keaton's suit - was perfect for the era but that website has pointed out its deficiencies. Didn't like the Returns suit as much and I think this was down to the chest armour moulding. The less said about the other two films, the better.
Batman Begins - loved the suit but when Bale wore it, it looked like it was a giant rubber suit with all the bulges/folds eg around shoulders when flexed. I also thought the Batlogo should have been visible or there's no point in displaying it. Didn't like the cowl much and loved the helmet idea of TDK. But Bale's Batman didn't do much of the "lurking in the shadows, cape around the body" stuff.

Yes I still prefer the Adam West Batman. Can you believe that they never released the TV series on DVD?
