Colin Farrell's Total Recall Remake 'Was Not Good' And 8 Other Revelations From Paul Verhoeven

http://movieline.com/2012/08/27/colin-f ... rzenegger/

He's right, films are way too serious these days considering some of the subject matters. And that's an even bigger problem when actual comedies now are more about cringing than wit :(

I'm not sure that counts as a revelation...

I was speaking to a work colleague today who went to see Total Recall over the weekend.
He didn't think it was too great either. I think I'll give it a miss until ITV gets it.
So many films this summer just haven't interested me.

That's what happens when you hire hack Len Wiseman; mind numbingly average films.

I suspect if he wasn't married to Kate Beckinsale he'd get absolutely no work at all.

I've long said there was a deal with Satan there. He maybe figured 'Souls probably aren't real, and I work in Hollywood anyway, so...'

There hasn't been a film in ages that's interested me. We made the trip to the cinema for Prometheus this year but other than that I just wait to see what's on Sky.

Waiting to see The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

Somewhat good news on the Avatar front IMO, but leave the back catalogue alone! :(

Jim Carrey Goes BALLS TO THE WALL For KICK-ASS 2!!

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/58090

Cage was about the only character who held your attention in the first, but this isn't much of a role if it follows the books.
