we have a change announcement system here. Just seen an announcement along the lines of 'due to a fault in the system, the payroll database is going to be rolled back to a previous backup'.
It's (supposedly) payday tomorrow. Oh [LIFTED].
Glad I'm not the admin for that.

Do I need a new Twitter account, or will a combination of your nostril and Nick's Twitchy Eye be ok?

Mrs. B and I booked to fly with Ryanair to Leipzig today. However I couldn't go and claimed a refund on my fare. We went to check my wife in at 8pm last night and they'd cancelled both flights. The refund notification email arrived at 5pm; their call centre shuts at 7pm. So, whilst trying to calm her down, I booked more seats on the same flights for her and checked her in. We turned up at the airport and I sent her through security. She had to unpack her cabin bag because the stupid bint had put a pot of honey in it.

My camera has had occasional fits of the jitters. I think the date and time backup battery is getting low on volts. Anyway, after one of its recent fits, I took all the batteries out and let the thing stand for a few minutes. When I put the D&T cell back in, it asked for the date, time, timezone, daylight savings setting. For some reason, I put the date in wrong by one day. I only noticed this when I imported a photo taken this morning and did a double-take because I was certain today was 7th September, not the 8th as the photo stated.

My boss had a series of slides for the TV presentation as images. I recreated them in powerpoint at home, added in extra slides etc. Perfect. Showed them to bosses at work who loved it.
Tried to load it onto the media PC and it wouldn't display properly. Forgot that I was using powerpoint 2010 and the media PC has Libre Impress on ubuntu.
I will have to redo it in Libre and it's much more basic/difficult to use than powerpoint.

I recently bought myself a nose hair trimmer. Got a bit overZealous with it. I now have nose stubble instead of neatly trimmed nose hair!

Why is it evolution decided that at a certain point men need extra hair in their ears and nose rather than on their head?

You'd have to assume the answer is something to do with testosterone.
