Buffy reboot scrapped.
Does this come as a surprise to anyone?
If they want someone to write like Joss Wheedon, just hire Joss Wheedon.

We might both be getting mixed up

My memory might be faulty, but I seem to remember a poster of an angel that looked like she'd be mean in the right circumstances and thought it was a Carpenter film, but I'm wrong far as I can see... Isn't Cameron gonna get around to Alita once he's done making films for couples? ;)

Recent update on Avatar 2 alone is 2015 and apparently that trilogy comes first, but you know how these things go... I'd sooner he made just about anything over that dross :(

Holy crap, I'd love to see Silver Surfer dealt with properly in the Marvel universe of film treatments.
Make the deal!

+1, though I'll be amazed if Fox can get DD to work, even though they seem to be going in the right direction with it. My guess is his villains gallery is the key; DD's one-note and wearing an awful suit, relatively

I need to read more Galactus stories - from what I know he'd be a hard villain to include without feeling you'd been short-changed by the end, such is his status.

That isn't a million miles away from a comic called Secret Service by Mark Millar, and Millar always has an eye on filming his work...
