You'll need more than your coat... Believe me, I wish it was the vodka. Sudocrem's helping a fair bit now though.

Just call me Rudolph... and now the skin's all broken and tender too. Hoping Sudocrem will do something for it cos we've nothing else

You can always try a blob of toothpaste.

Raises the pH and dries it out.

Trying to work out if using logmein is a good idea. I'm happy with accessing the work computer from home and on my iphone but wonder whether it'd be a good idea to access my home computer from work.

Question for those of you who may know:

Blade Runner: should we buy the Directors Cut or the Final cut?

OMG how f'kin spooky I watched the DC today and then I find out Mark was watching it at the same time. DC cut very good but I can't comment either way and not seen the FC but so funny you asked *bizarre*

What's the downside? I find it really useful.

The final cut is a bit bloated and misses out one of my favourite scenes, also changes some of the iconic lines, meaning you kinda wish you'd watched the DC instead. FC will have better picture quality though and is less dark, so you can see the sets better.

Realistically wondering whether it's a good idea from a security POV.

Ha! That's really interesting. I spent months agonising over whether to get a smart phone that other people find entirely inocuous and use everyday. Then I spent weeks looking at privacy policies and reading all about apps, their use of my data etc. and I'm still really picky about what I do with my phone.

But Logmein looked good and I just started using it without any thought about 4 years ago!

It's funny the way my brain works in comparison to other people :)

Mobile devices carry far more security risks than a Logmein account.

Personally I just use SSH to access my home machine if I need to. But then, that's not a Windows box.

As I think I posted somewhere before, this is what happens when Lady Gaga etc steal your thunder, NSFW:

I'm all for artists performing until they drop, but Madonna should probably just quit. And if you're in any doubt as to how desperate she is at this point, she's also been waving a plastic gun about (in the Middle East IIRC), and asking the crowd if they have any drugs

I absolutely hate Madonna these days and have done for around 20 years.

As for Logmein, I was more concerned with people getting into my home laptop as opposed to people accessing patient data.
