I used a spray full of boiling water, which was as close as my budget (£20 including paint for the whole house) stretched. In the places where "normal" paste was used, the paper came off easily in great strips and I could wash the residual glue off the wall with soapy water to give a near-perfect finish to paint. In the bathroom they definitely had used PVA in places, but thinking about it that did peel off relatively easily. In the problem areas, the glue was definitely not water soluble. It wasn't really rubbery like PVA, but I'm not sure what it was. It was brown, not water soluble and stuck like Bostik. Maybe it was Bostik

When I redecorated some of the rooms here, I was finding PVA all over the place. I wonder if there was some popular top-tip banded about 20 years ago that PVA was a good thing to use on wallpaper. Gits.
Oh, and I'm another one who'd sooner eat his own gentleman's veg than wallpaper. I hate it.

! That just made me laugh. How about a teatowel on your head, tied at the corners and a tropical sunset shirt? You'll feel so at home!

Nice, nothing better than migraine yellow for a productive workplace. May I suggest you cover the walls in either equipment or nekkid girly pictures for your own sanity.

I think you'll find he'll save his eyes as they'll be closed half the time.

My sugestion? Accidently trip over those wires your wifes been telling you to put away nice and tidy, while holding a bottle of terps, that you were using to clean the inside of your printer. You'll have to repaint it Either that, or just go into a coma, and when you wake up, blame your wife for the neuron killing colour.
