my uncle few years ago bought a whisky bottle for £40 and he just sold it recently and got £300+ for it

well ive just dug up a 1700's item which ive no idea what it is, its labelled "kenrick and sons LTD" which is/was? a company in birmingham
anyone know what it is?

The company looks like it produced parts for agricultural machinery and, if you hold that item horizontally it might be a plough hitch of some kind.
