Hey Bratty, how did you like the book?

Ive only read the first page (and wish I hadnt as it seems to give away quite a lot of the story(?)

I cant read anything atm as I am getting consistent discoveries with these old forgotten farmhouses, went back to the one I was at week before with a friend, the sod found stuff I missed  including ww1 dated coins, loads of them. He found jewellary, this weird pendant thing its gold and silver. He also found a 1935 dated queen jubilee postcard thing, amazing finds.

I explored further and found yet another old farmhouse, found 1942 dated explosive metal containers. I think they were for mortar shells but not sure yet. Theres a really really weird big heavy bit of machinary which is unknown to me. Best thing in this farm is there is a vintage safe  and the damn thing is locked. Anyone any idea how to crack open?

so once I am done with those farmhouses etc I will read that book ;)

Is it just me or are you always ill? Id get that "tap water" you are drinking checked out and tested asap

It's not the water (filtered). It's the hazards of my job.

Having said that, when I used to live in halls at uni, I always drank bottled water. There were a few times I ran out and had to resort to tap water which is precisely when I'd become unwell. After that, I bought a brita filter jug.

"In a further embarrassment, Lady Warsi has been forced to admit that she failed to declare to parliament thousands of pounds in rental income on a two-bedroom flat."

Oh my that is embarrassing, being caught committing a crime, I bet her cheeks are red now! Slap her on the wrists, and let her keep her job, she's a baroness! And it's only white collar crime.

It seems criminal, scrounging, amoral idiots have a choice between prison, or the Tory party.

Secrete handshakes, dodgy ties and that unnerving middle-distance stare of someone who isn't quite on the same planet as you.

After having watched the Bridge on BBC4 recently, and never having been there, My brother , who has, tells me that the Copenhagen end is a tunnel, allowing big ships to pass. Epic.

Some of the biggest ships have a draught greater than the maximum depth over the tunnel. They have to wait for low tides and ease under the bridge, timing is crucial. It's not really a tunnel anyway, large concrete tubes laid end to end in a trench, sealed and then evacuated of water

As it happens I'm off to København in the morning. :D

Yeah, except from the plane coming into CPH, it just looks like the bridge ends in the middle of the sea. Weird as hell, until my Danish friends laughed at me and explained...

I bought a dirt cheap churchwarden pipe from ebay, sent from Vietnam to use as a spare if my main pipe breaks (as has happened twice now) it's arrived and looks perfectly good, apart from the first smoke caused a massive load of blisters in the finish as the pipe got hot, and now it's got more of a rustic look about it 8-)

I read somewhere recently that some nutter thinks we can build one of these in the next twenty years:

Well they built a full size replica in Minecraft, so it doesn't seem like a particularly big step.

Just need a few billion dollars to make it so.
