I've read that a few times and I'm still not really sure what they're doing, bar some dodgy sounding research around phones :?

No doubt Intel dazzled George with aspirational drivel and will be avoiding tax somehow ;)

It sounds like a big Internet of Things play, which means putting every streetlight, fridge, electric meter, bus car and whelbarrow all onto the internet at once. There's a company in America building a multi billion dollar uninhabited city to test all this stuff out in - which is great because they don't need permits to dig up roads and so on. But these guys apparently want to test their crap in a living city.

That's because it doesn't actually say what they're doing.

However it does sound like yet another half-a*sed proposal for a smart city.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I should think that x404 has the technology. The question is... do you have the wheelbarrow?
