How exactly is the National Lottery website unclear? One of the tabs at the top of the page is 'Check Results', just click on it and it will show all of the most recent results for all of the various games. You can also check many of the results on the BBC red button (page 555).

I think part of the issue is the multiple lotteries - euro one, national one, thunderball etc. The other issue is the results don't go on to the website until the following day (or similar delay).

I turned up on the wrong day for my exam today (It's tomorrow, not yesterday, thankfully). And I'd forgotten to use my railcard when buying my train tickets, but I did notice they were costing a lot more than normal. My brain is much at present (MUMU March 2008 level of mush by way of comparison).

I have an outpatient clinic appointment. For some reason, I thought it was tomorrow. Had booked tomorrow morning off as well. Just realised now that I've got the wrong date! Must've gotten mixed up when the computer went down and wiped all leave off for may.

On the way to work this morning, some annoying little d!ckhead in a Saxo was driving obnoxiously - overtaking aggressively and forcing his way back in to line of cars to avoid oncoming traffic; until he got behind me, at the bottom of a long uphill drag.

He went for it. I let him get alongside, but no further. He was cogging it down and wringing it's neck, jockey-ing the steering wheel (like it would make a difference), baring his teeth and hurling obscenities at me; but his little 1.1 was labouring for all it was worth, and had nothing left to give.

There were no cars coming the other way but we were fast approaching the summit, and the imminent danger was evident on his rabid, spotty little face; so he eventually bottled it, pulled in behind me and backed off. Thoroughly cowed.

This was a fail for me, for behaving like a child and rising to the bait but, in this instance, I simply do not care.

Ordered Darksiders 2 CE at £60 with Amazon, hedging my bets as I have credit all round the place and was hoping to get it for next to nothing as a result. It's as well I did, because HMV's site has it at £68 and everywhere else including Amazon is now £80

Google Chrome/ Chromium

It doesn't have basic features such as autoscroll, font forcing or auto-switching to new tabs. The gestures are turd and it absolutely will not apply system themes or fonts properly. Oh and why does it use the same s**t scrollbars on every operating system?

Is it too much to ask that a browser uses my system icons for pity's sake?

Total turd.

My email provider has moved IMAP access to paid only

No warning.

[Edit] Fixed it for now - am putting something else in place just in case.

IMAP is more expensive to provide since you need to maintain a large amount of data. It's far cheaper in storage if the emails all POP off. In fact, most domain name providers only provide forwarding in their free option. I just use Gmail when I need IMAP, one of the few companies that can afford to give that kind of thing away for free.

Anyway, my tale of fail:

"Drawsomething" is a nice game, but it has non-unique usernames! It wouldn't let me sign up as JJW009 because that was taken, but when I sent games to a couple of friends in the same room they never received them. Someone else did. I have absolute proof that the name is right because I now have two different people with identical usernames (spelling, spaces, capitalisation and punctuation) but different avatars showing "Waiting - their move"

Also "fail" - the tales of fail thread has twice as many posts as the tails of win
