Rupert Murdoch "is not a fit person to exercise the stewardship of a major international company", MPs have said.

The culture committee questioned journalists and bosses at the now closed News of the World, as well as police and lawyers for hacking victims.

[url="http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201012/cmselect/cmcumeds/903/903i.pdf"]Its report has concluded[/url] that Mr Murdoch exhibited "wilful blindness" to what was going on in News Corporation.

[The Report] noted that the newspaper mogul had "excellent powers of recall and grasp of detail when it suited him".
