So, just to clarify, you have no data or facts and are just spouting drivel based on fantasy.

my comments stand

So, just to clarify, you have no data or facts and are just spouting drivel based on an arbitrary and purely binary value system in which anyone who you don't like is either ‘management’ or a ‘lackey’

depends if you are management or a lackey

i am not your 'lackey' check the facts for yourself
or are you unable too and require help ...

Hmmm...

So given that, according to your statements:

  • you are not a lackey,
  • you are telling me to check the facts for myself,
  • in so doing, you are looking after yourself,
  • you are offering to supervise the activity and
  • in so doing, you are attempting to make me into a lackey,

are you not, yourself, Management?

Indeed.

The only things I need now are a suit and a pre-frontal leucotomy so I can walk through the wardrobe to join you and Mr. Tumnus.

I'll just add that as someone who's suffered with depression to the point of being suicidal, there's no way I'd have been fit to stand trial while I was ill.
Now, though, I'm certainly fit enough to answer to any authority about my actions whilst I was ill.

The question I have is: was she a known depressive going through an episode at the time?

From what I can gather, she suddenly wants to harm herself. This isn't depression. It'a an acute stress reaction - it's in response to the situation that she is in. She won't benefit from antidepressants. She needs to come to terms with what's happened.

that was the statement on several news papers
the prison system is able to deal with this

so why the delay in the court case ...

Judging by the article, that's because her doctors don't seem to think she's in the correct state of mind to be able to plead guilty.

This thread is far too Daily Mail for me, it makes me despair.

So she's not fit to stand trial?

I take it that means she's not currently fit to stand trial, and that she will at some point.

Justice has been postponed, not abandoned, ffs - all that huffing and puffing about a delay in proceedings?

[edit] apologies if the point has already been made, but I couldn't be bothered to wade through the entire slagging match.

As she will be tried in her absence later this year she just won't be appearing in court.
Though as her fragile mental state appears to have been caused by her own actions my heart isn't dripping with sympathy.
If (or more likely when) she is found guilty as i don't think claiming expenses for a second home that's over 100 miles from your constituency and not in London where you have another property is going to be within the rules as they were, she will be lucky to escape jail time.
