Adobe CS 3 Design Premium is a complete arse to install and always has been but it's been made even more of a ball ache by the expiration of some security certificate that the updater application needs to run. The solution, set the date and time to 1 October 2011.

I realise that it's old software but is it so hard to update a certificate or provide a more streamlined process for those languishing (for whatever reason) on older software?

Expecting Adobe to spend any money at all on anything other than the most recent version of CS is tilting at windmills I'm afraid. It's not as if they actually give a crap about their customers, given the evidence in front of us.

I know, I know. It doesn't make it any less irritating though.

I knew it would happen. I ordered a new hard drive, and expected delivery Thursday or Friday.

We had to go out to do a bit of grocery shopping. Sod's Law states the delivery will take place during the period we are out of the house, and it needs to be signed for.

I can collect it from our local post office in the village tomorrow morning.

That's nothing. Tescos near me was refurbed before christmas and they added an opticians section. For the first couple of weeks the following sign was up...

Woman drives her ex's car into a bowling alley after they split up

Seriously, watch the video. Hell hath no fury etc.

There was a decent little microbrewery in that bowling alley :(.

Saw a second hand book on Amazon, knew I could get it new for cheaper elsewhere so I ordered it. Email days later says it's out of stock, and now the Amazon one has gone... I fcuking detest companies that can't measure their stock/rely on numpty suppliers

It would appear something has taken out our local BT lines. Our whole road is dead, possibly beyond.

The last time this happened it was a fire at our local exchange. Not sure how long it might be before we're back with a working tellingbone. Thankfully, our interwebs is optical, so we can still communicate with the outside world - for now.

Wires. Just wires... When I come to power every device will be totally wireless, I don't care if it puts us into yet another recession!

All remaining wires will be used to string up the wireless deniers!

I think there was a girl who needed emergency surgery recently after swallowing magnets. She must have swallowed them over some time, because rather than just clumping in the stomach they had moved to the intestines, and promptly started to cause a lot of damage.
