Yeah that's why I hate clothes shopping. So much variability in sizing. I also hate "tight" clothing - have always been a fan of baggy/loose clothing, otherwise I feel like I'm suffocating!

My guess: Skinny's secretly well pleased and her average build friend now thinks she should lose weight

Banks! Gah.
So I wanted to do some online banking before I went to work this morning. Down for maintenance between 5 and 7 am. Fair enough. I had plenty of other things to do. Still wasn't back by 7:20 at which point they changed the maintenance notice to say it would be down between 7 and 8 am.
Now, I know full well that you do get the occasional mishap when doing these things but don't lie to me about it and pretend as if you'd always meant it to be 7 till 8. As it was there was naff all point in me turning the computer on before I went to work so it was an entirely wasted exercise. Grrr.

CLICKYHis theory test for [LIFTED] sake. It's not even his proper test!!! Seriously, if you fail that much surely you should be banned from the road for the safety of others?

That theory test is a piece of piss too, I filled it in in about 10 minutes, only 1 wrong, mistook a speed hump for a humpback bridge or something.

I passed mine first time. I've no idea what score though. It was only a couple of months after they brought it in so it was done on paper like an old fashioned exam. I got the pass/fail result by post a month later.

Steam fail. For some reason offline mode has stopped working on my laptop. Even when I select if (with wifi turned off), it still comes up with an error as it's trying to connect to the Steam servers.

I applied for my theory test and then completely forgot about it until two hours before the exam started, so didn't do any revision. I still passed though. That's how easy it is!

Out of interest, I'm guessing you all did it before the introduction of the hazard perception test?

I did mine before they even had theory tests... I feel really, really old now.

I haven't seen the theory test, it didn't exist way back in the days of leather pennies - I must be in Heather's old codgers club. Speaking to people who have taken it, I gather it's ludicrously simple though.
