Anyone got any suggestions? I'm thinking First Direct.

First Direct have always been good IMO.

If you fancied Santander go via topcashback and get £30+ for the basic current account just for transferring yourself over before your bank do so. Worth having a look on there for other banks too, I think Lloyds give £30 or so as well.

May as well get a few free tenners if you have to move current accounts anyway.

Got to be up at 03:45 to drop the gf off at work. As I can't return to bed afterwards I need to find something to occupy my time with. It's going to be -4 degrees with a windchill and clear skies so I'll go for a walk.

Only problem is that I can't find either of my two hats.

borehamwood.maybe i should qualify this ,pub name removed

I was on a nights work/ get back into working in England ,now I must say it's a community pub and it has it's regulars,
last night we had 2 parties and karioky ,lots of fun good age range granma's to 17 yr olds (caught a few myself ),
but then as it always seem's to it kicked off the result is this ....
One 18yr old in intensive care with 3 blood clot's in his head ,induced coma till tuesday, bone fragment's in his brain ,
major csi type action outside the pub ,police then cid checking camera's and then some GIRL today says to me this is (to paraphrase bratty)Normal round here!!!!

is it really that bad here in UK or did I just get unlucky ....

A few things:

Whether the (field?) mouse the cat brought in tonight was the same one as two nights ago.
Why the cat never kills (fortunately) the mouse it brings in.
Why the mouse never learns.

Edit: Oh and why does my Centurion still think it's Christmas.

Why companies make a big show of their products at events and on their sites, then don't give fcuking release dates (we really need a 'tongue behind bottom lip, pulling a twisted face' Smilie).
