To replace my windscreen wiper switch, I need to disassemble my steering column.
I do not have the necessary tools for this. Or the skill probably.

What you need is a how-to guide. Is Haynes not available for your car?

Yeah, I've got one. There's some jobs it covers, and others it doesn't. It doesn't cover the replacement of this switch, but spends ages on cylinder honing. Which is the more likely thing that I'll need to do?
I've found a few guides online - http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/electronics/495683-how-disassemble-column-replace.html, http://www.fieros.de/en/articles/steering.html.

Don't underestimate the benefits of a well honed cylinder.

I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Ditto with a well lubricated shaft.

What a bahuvrihi compound is, how it makes use of synecdoches, and how to correctly pronounce the title of the film Synecdoche, New York

All tied to looking for a link about PSH for Tim.

Also: the contiguities between metaphor and metonymy.

And the meaning of the word contiguity.
