Hope to get some time to watch Whip It! at the hotel tonight.

That sounds rather 'pay per view'....

No it's not something kinky... it's Drew Barrymore's directorial debut about a roller derby. It stars Juno girl Ellen Page :P ;)

The primary schools in our local area, or more precisely our local education authority can no longer afford....

lollipop ladies.

Yes, part time pensioners on close to minimum wage are too expensive.

The macaroon remained uneaten as I hadn't had breakfast yet. Tea was delicious though. And they have a smoke room INSIDE!!! *chuffed*

Series VIII was a downward slope, but still entertaining enough. Back To Earth was horrific!

You can't reclaim the glory days after the actors have aged so much! It's time to give up and move on!

Check out his books section. He is doing an Audioboo of "The Man behind the Rubber Mask," his time as Kryten. Bl***y funny!

I just ordered half the books on Amazon (4 books, 1€ the lot!).

I just can't get into audiobooks myself (the worry that if I did I'd become even mentally lazier doesn't help!), but I did order the paperback version of The Man... from eBay for something like £2.26 :D

ION, Duff McKagan (formerly GnR, possibly formerly Velvet Revolver) has claimed in his book that Axl Rose once introduced him onstage as, "Duff 'King of Beers' McKagan'* at a gig, and this led to The Simpsons team asking if they could use it in their show. He claims The Simpsons sounded low rent at the time etc, so he said yeah...

* McKagan was already an extremely heavy drinker, amongst other vices.
