My exam. Fecking appalling.
So much harder than my last attempt and this is despite me knowing a lot more stuff. I think I have only one attempt left if I fail this.

I find out the result of mine on Monday, though I didn't realise it's not going to count towards my score, going out drinking tonight to celebrate though :p any excuse.

I have to wait about a month. They change the pass mark so a certain number of people pass.
I had a ridiculous headache during the exam and started to fall asleep towards the end because I had less than six hours' sleep last night. Been checking a few answers by looking it up. Very depressing!

Maybe say you had a migraine? They may give you more attempts to resit it? (that is if you don't pass it!)

I don't think I did horrendously. Anyway, no excuses. Any medical conditions need to be flagged up beforehand (4 weeks in advance).
Last time I failed by 3% and I thought I'd done pretty well.

How could you possibly know you might suffer a migraine in four weeks' time?

My payslip.
I was expecting my salary to increase slightly, having had a letter stating my tax code was about to change.
What I cannot work out is how they arrived at the figure they did. I thought I'd see an extra £30 per month but, in reality, it was nearer five times that amount!
It isn't some tax rebate either - nothing, other than the normal items, is mentioned on the payslip.
I'm confused.

RE: Exams - no issues considered unless extenuating. They don't give a toss if you have a migraine unless you have a history of severe migraines. Even for bereavement, they would want a copy of the death certificate. The GMC says we should be compassionate to patients but there's none of that when the GMC/Royal College/etc deal with doctors.
As for payslip, I'm down about £100/mth at the mo and need to get in touch with payroll to get it sorted. It should have gone up in August but somehow my incremental date "managed" to change from August to December without me realising.

I have that vague nagging doubt I have not filled in my tax return online properly. I'm sure they'll let me know soon enough if I have got it wrong.

Just how successful those army ads actually are ('Yes, I'm talking to you' etc), especially these days
