How to get my claws on an iPhone 4S.

Contract or sim-only+handset. Did a spreadsheet and everything. Currently, based on iPhone 4 32GB white, it's about £100 cheaper to go for a 24 month contract rather than an 18 month one, on O2. There's not much difference in buying the handset and going sim-only.

Essentially, it seems that O2 is the better deal but their coverage is absolute pants, so am contemplating jumping over to vodafone.

Why the frak do Halifax insist on making adverts with a bunch of workers singing. They get right on my tit end.

They are only looking for customers who are easily distracted and entertained.

Bratty, why don't you use them to buy presents for friends or family? If there's someone's birthday coming up or for Christmas, it might come in handy?

This is the right idea. It's more effort than giving them away, but it's also easier to give someone a present if when they say "you shouldn't have!" you can respond "it's OK, I got it with some vouchers I got for free" and they say "aww thanks" because it's the thought that counts.

Then hopefully you snog them

Unless it's your granny...

I'm not a well paid doctor who spends lavish amounts on car polish and razor blades. ;)

 Depends on how you define well-paid. Some of my old mates from secondary school now earn 2-3x more than me and they work with computer networks in banks.

Friends? Or just wait until you see something you like on Amazon and buy it for yourself. There must be games/DVDs/books etc that you want?

Is there anyone you'd like to snog? I'm not suggesting you can buy their affections, but you can at least demonstrate that you like them.
