Over the past two weeks, I've been averaging 5 hrs a night. Even this weekend, despite lounging around in bed, I couldn't sleep longer than five hours. Things have been so bad that I've fallen asleep at work, around lunchtime. Today it caught up with me and I fell asleep as soon as I get home for around 3 hours, and have been up. Very sleepy - been playing nfs:mw on my new laptop because I don't have any new pc games.

I've ripped out the hdd from my old laptop and have managed to take command of it in windows 7. Unfortunately the "Administrator" account has appeared on the log in screen and I can't remove it without deactivating it. Unlike XP, it won't be visible in safe mode unless it's active!

I also need to figure out how to extract my old emails from outlook and import them to the new laptop. Ditto with bookmarks and cookies from firefox.

Have you tried TRK 3.4? It helped me out of a similar situation.

Old laptop (XP) is dead - probably mobo. Have a new win7 based laptop.

To take control of the old HDD files, I couldn't use my normal windows account in Win7. I tried safe mode but there was no Administrator account. Enabled it via command prompt and rebooted into safe mode. Managed to take control of old HDD and copied everything across. But the Administrator account is sill visible on normal logon screen. In Windows XP this was only ever visible in safe mode. As far as I can tell, to "hide" it, I have to deactivate it. Either I can have it in both normal AND safe mode, or neither.

What I want is for the Administrator account to be visible only in Safe Mode. I don't want it polluting the logon screen - my normal windows account is the only one I want visible. Any ideas?

Looking at flashguns and lens adaptors/filter adaptors for my G12 camera.

270ex looks like a decent small sized flash to go on top. Thinking about filter adaptor + UV filter + circular polarising filter + IR filter (last one for fun).

I'm revising. When I came home at 3pm, I napped for two hours because I knew I'd be unproductive. Have been studying for the last three hours. My mind has become numb!

Just been on a mini spending spree and bought:

A pair of Batman cufflinks, some Transformers cufflinks and some Spirit Level cufflinks. Also bought my sister her birthday present (she wanted a case and memory cards for the camera her fiance has bought her), as well as a decent memory card for me and a spudz lens cleaner.
