I'm beginning to really hate Youtube. "This video not available in your country."

I'm just going to give up on Youtube and do without video.

It happens with a number of them that I cannot see. Not accessible in your country, it might only be a 30 second clip, yet still not accessible. The numbers which have been withdrawn by Viacom is incredible as well.

The companies wanna realise that it's free promotion, or push Google for a share of the ads or something, either way they win instead of continuously engaging solicitors

Star Wars' C3PO, actor Anthony Daniels, has admitted that he's not a big fan of 3D television, insisting he doesn't like things coming out of his TV.

Although the British thespian is a fan of 3D when it's used in big theme park productions, he's unconvinced by its use in the home.

"One of the projects I have just been involved in is Star Tours," he told a press conference launching the Star Wars saga on Blu-ray.

"That is in a 60 seat flight simulator where people go on a voyage around the planet and everyone wears 3D glasses.

"The effects are stunning and relevant and real – because you're apparently looking through a view port.
Sitting room

"I slightly have a problem with sitting in my own sitting room and being surprised by things coming into the room. I don't expect things to come out my television!" he continued.

"I'm quite happy, in a luddite kind of way, to see things on a [2D] screen."

But Daniels is more of a fan than Star Wars' stunt co-ordinator Nick Gillard who said: "I hate 3D!"

"I saw Avatar on non-3D and I thought it was pretty average."

It will be interesting to see if either of them is rolled out for the launch of the Star Wars 3D Blu-rays in a couple of years' time!

 :D

I would agree. The effects were good and I can imagine that few scenes would have looked good in 3D. Other than that it was an average film.

The original theatrical versions of the Original Trilogy are not included on these discs.
FAIL. Right there. That's what makes these "special" editions less special.

I'm not even gonna comment, coz we've been down this road before. But I'm a man, and I'm cool with having my own opinion and doing my own thing.

If the transfer is that much of an improvement - I'm there. That said, I've not watched my DVDs upscaled yet, and I'm a little out of the tech loop for next several months...

Same here. Just bought a upscaling DVD player for less than £30 so will want to see the results before even considering a Blu-ray version.
