It became the "post-midnight" thread, Bratty. I'm here most nights, but seldom post there. I used to like the "Last Post of the Day" thread, as it forced you to sleep.

Wow, I actually came up with a useful thread at one point. Ah, memories.

Night all.
May all your tomorrows be better than today.
This year's being rubbish so far. I was going to put this in Dave's thread, but that would've been the wrong place.

Another friend just lost her mother yesterday. Her mother was suffering badly from dementia, not helped along by the drugs the hospital prescribed for something else. The GP spotted it and changed the meds, and she regained some lucidity, but the clinic in the hospital swapped them back again.
This went on for months, going from lucid to not recognising her family and being almost abusive at times. Poor Claire was stuck doing a 9 to 5 and trying to look after her, as she wasn't eating properly. Then recently, she got an infected bowel which lead to kidney issues, and well, here we are.

Can someone take 2009 out behind the barn with a shotgun please?

Pity this dude, his manslaughter conviction is the best news he's had in a long time by the sound of it:

'Night all.

Don't think I'll sleep well, between humidity and the ruddy fan's bearings on the way out.

Expect me to be grumpy tomorrow. Or should that be more grumpy than normal? ;)
