That there are now blue Skittles, at least temporarily. They're not bad :)

They're cola flavoured and imo quite tasty.

I'm not sure it's cola-flavoured, but then I'm not sure what it is either... I could have done without the whole bag being flooded with them  , even though they're OK.

I'm sat here with a whole pile of the red and purple ones to give to mother dearest - detest the purple ones and the reds don't go with the others IMO

I think my bag (the standard snack size) had about half the number of blues when compared to the numbers of other colours.

I used to love the red and purple ones but slowly gravitating towards the citrus flavours. At the mo I eat them in this order: yellow, green, orange, purple, red (and now blue).

According to wiki, blue is cherry cola flavour.

Modern swimming pools that allow the waves to overspill the sides of the pool are easier to swim in because they don't reflect as much wave energy back at the swimmer, you can therefore swim faster.

I discovered my Canon EOS 7D has a viewfinder level function. No more accidentally crooked shots from me.

I also discovered shooting RAW monochrome images in camera means I can retrieve the colour data later if I want. May well spend a while shooting black and white again.

Giving blood today, the first syringe was filled normally (plunger that's slowly pulled out to extract the blood). With the next, the nurse pulled the plunger out in advance, connected it to the needle, and the vacuum from the plunger pulls the blood out. Never seen it done like that before, thought it was really quite novel.
