I thought I had totally foobared the auto focus on my camera. A totally heart in mouth moment until I realised that I had accidently flicked the AF switch to M.

The best one I've done is forget to put a card it. Luckily, I'd set the camera so it wouldn't take any images, but I kept wondering what message in the viewfinder meant... :?

Fox News doesn’t know what Sarah Palin looks like?

Image

http://seriouslyomg.com/?p=17093

Quote:
Yesterday on Fox News’ America’s News Headquarter, they used a graphic talking about the chances of Sarah Palin running for President and there’s a 50/50 chance they don’t know what she looks like. OK there is a 100% chance they don’t know because they used a picture of Tina Fey dressed as a the former Vice President instead. Fox News’ David Clark released a statement to TV Newser about the boo boo and said, “A graphic error was made. The producer has since been disciplined and an explanation and apology will be made in the same hour next Sunday. Fox News regrets the error.” I can’t wait to hear what their explanation will be? That they don’t watch Saturday Night Live? The producer is related to Paul Revere? Or basically they were playing of the 50/50 chance of her running? What do you think?

Wow they employ her and they have no idea what she looks like.

Switched on the kettle earlier and nothing happened. Long story short, turns out we'd run out of electricity. Put the plastic fob into the meter and now I have tea, but how big a pillock did I feel?

You shouldn't do. That happened to us all the time in the flat we used to rent.
Prepaid meters are a pain in the arse.

Add in that they overcharge users for the priviledge as well.

Jennifer Love Hewitt the worst-reviewed actress over last 25 years

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... years.html

Quote:
An analysis of reviews showed that her movies, which have included two Garfield productions, Sister Act 2, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, had the lowest average appreciation scores for any female star.
Hewitt, 32, can take solace in having been nominated for a Golden Globe for her television work.
Action star Chuck Norris, who has appeared in films including The Delta Force and Missing in Action, was the actor with the worst reviewed movies.
French star Daniel Auteuil, who starred in Jean de Florette, was the best reviewed actor.
Arsinee Khanjian, an Armenian-Canadian actress known for appearing in Ararat was the best actress.

I thought that this could be either here or in movie news. This seemed more appropriate.

I would have guessed Jennifer Aniston.

I would have guessed Jennifer Aniston.

I would have thought Carnen Electra or Katherine Heigl, who apart from Under Siege 2 has barely made a watchable movie.

Useless dumb hint.

Yes but I think she won a Razzie for her efforts.

Someone I work with fell off an 8 metre rooftop this morning. :(

He landed on top of a marquee and walked away.

This incident following three others yesterday resulted in him being sent off site, never to return.
