Yup, another one of her 80s throwback-ish looks. Remove the gold shoulder strap and it'd be a classic LBD. Does she shop in TK Maxx? I'm forever seeing stuff in there that nearly works, but is then ruined at the last minute by some pointless frippery.

I like the colour but the cut is, as you say, bizarre. It looks like they took a dress about 5 sizes too big and tried to fold it over in places to fit.
