Not strictly new, as it was in the air anyway, but it's been officially announced that the runt of the Dennis forums, the old MacUser forums, will officially close at the end of May.
They've never been the same since the Great Forum Schism of 2009, but there have always been a couple of diehards who clung on there and chose not to join us here. Now, it seems, that last link with the olden days is finally closing.
And life moves on.

Yes, R.I.P. MacUser forums, in some ways it's a relief they're being put out of their misery! But sad all the same.
