I got it in 30 seconds :D

50 - 7 = 43
43 x 9 = 387
25 + 75 = 100
100 / 100 = 1

387 + 1 = 388

The speed is mostly down to luck. I look for the best division of the target, and in this case my first choice was 9 which gives 43 and a third. The rest fell into place. If I'd started with 7, it could have taken a lot longer...
