Well I have already ordered my next months staples so no need to sign up for that right now. I must remember it for next time though.

I'd suggest pinning it to a noticeboard or something

So recently been making a lot of Jacket Potatoes for Lunch and whilst the first few were really nice, the last few haven't been the best with the potato not being very creamy/fluffy. At first i thought it was to do with the potato variety themselves, since they're labelled as "baking potatoes" on the bag but i'd bought the original ones from Tescos, and the subsequent ones from Sainsburys. However i went back and bought a bag at Tesco's and today they were the same as they've been recently so i looked into whether or not it was possible to overcook them. After reading the instructions on a site it suddenly dawned on me... I'd been forgetting to prick them with a fork . I did it when i first started, but for some reason forgot to another time and then subsequently kept forgetting to. I feel like such a tool.

Hotmail/MS may be loaded with FAIL, but even they'd struggle there...

Over the weekend (well just yesterday), went on a mini-spending spree. Bought some stuff from Amazon, Ebuyer and Play.com, as well as from a car detailing website. Today, I decided I really can't be arsed with DVDs and my PS3 and that ripping them to the PS3 HDD (via PC) would be a good idea. Duly looked up an appropriate HDD, found Amazon had it cheapest even with first-class delivery and went ahead and ordered. Emails tell me that there's problems with the card. There shouldn't be as there's a fair whack in my bank account. Tell it to try again but fail. At this point, I wonder whether the bank fraud squad have detected the multitude of online shopping and declined the card or something, so I get out my wallet to fetch the credit card and stick it on that. Lo and behold, all of my purchases have been on the credit card and it's been maxed out (large purchase earlier in the year). FAIL! Have now just paid off the balance on the credit card and paid Amazon via my debit card.

My boss' iPhone 4 is 1 month old and the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi don't work, my htc Mozart's power button has stopped working.
I rang up yesterday and reported the two problems: I get a brand new Mozart today, my boss will be without his iPhone for 2 weeks, while Apple repair it. Apple won't replace defective phones.
I had the same problem with my 3GS, it randomly locked up (power button and home button didn't work). I had to send it back for repair 3 times, before they replaced it. (The first 2 times that it went back, they sent it back saying they couldn't find a problem with it - I guess not being able to switch it on is a not a problem), it was only after I started talking very loudly in the shop, that this was the third time in 6 weeks - and it took then 2 weeks each time to not repair it, so you can tell how long I had my iPhone in that period - and I wanted to have a replacement. Funny, the last time they actually found a problem and replaced it!)

I've known quite a few people who've had their handheld iDevices freeze up and need replacing over the years, but never any bother with the 'puters I have to add...

Apart from it being a bit asthmatic with Snow Leopard, I haven't had any problems with my iMac either (or any of the non-Apple computers I've ever bought). But Apple's attitude, compared to the other mobilephone manufacturers stinks.

Could it be to do with them prioritising the manufacturing for new customers? In other news, I found out this morning from a very nice Police man that the digits on the Camaro's number plates are too small. I have 14 days to sort it out. Good news is that it could've been a £1000 fine etc. for that. So I got off lightly.

Halliburton Training:
Training for our software in 2011 with Power point slides from the version that was phased out in 2002. I already know how to use it, but everyone else is going to be screwed when it comes to the practical.

They will have to replace the device either way - the bluetooth and wi-fi antenne doesn't work, the BT has a range of 10cm and wi-fi has about 1/10th the signal strenght of a 3GS. With non-Apple 'phones, the customer can carry on working. With Apple, the customer "cannot" work for 2 weeks, while they wait for the repair / replacement to take place. Given that my boss is always on the move, telephones for 4 hours a day and uses the iPhone for e-mail whilst on the move, 2 weeks without his iPhone is a non-option, so I have the "Arsch-Karte" to try and mediate between an angry boss and a customer unfriendly organisation...
