I don't "do" lent, so I guess it's OK to have pancakes on Saturday. There's a pudding I've wanted to make for ages, but I've forgotten what it's called. It's pancakes layered with cream and stuff, so it looks almost like a Victoria sponge. I saw it in an animé a few years ago

Well we had a pancake party - I made around 60 ish pancakes. We had various friends around and we provided all the food and drink. We asked them to make a contribution to a charity and we made over £80 - overall a good evening

Six pancakes for me last night. I made up the batter before work and took it in with my old paraffin stove (clicky).

I had to clean my stove somewhat as the jet was coming out at a 45° angle...And it flared a few times because the paraffin wasn't hot enough...And the paraffin leaked everywhere.
But all in all it was really fun, and the pancakes tasted goooooood :D

Obligatory pancakes made on Tuesday and will revisit the chaos (the boys helped me) on Saturday where the youngest will make the batter (Delia's version of course) and the eldest will cook them. Made some for the wife and used peach schnapps instead of lemon juice.

I didn't do 'lent' either until about 20 years ago where I gave up 'lent' for lent. Trust me, it works, is fairly easy to see through to the end and you don't need to give up a single thing to succeed :D

So do people have plans for this year?

Currently my choices for fillings are:
Chocolate spread
Cadbury buttons
Cadbury nibbles
Banana
Fresh/fried/grilled tomatos
Bacon

Any other suggestions?
