As long as none of them involve the use of camouflage clothing and night vision lenses, I think I'm safe ;)

Besides, if I ditch the pictures the image tags in this thread will break and I'm far too good a netizen to allow that to happen.

You have an image archive? Why not post it online?

Does this thread not count as "online", Paul?

I thought they could be presented in a more searchable format. I’m over thinking this.

I thought they could be presented in a more searchable format. I’m over thinking this.

It's not some some sort of catalogued archive indexed with metadata. It's a pile of files, ordered by date of creation. And I can't make it directly accessible because the image service it's on has two options - private and public. Public is everyone, for everything, and I have other images in there that aren't related to this thread which for various reasons I don't want to be public. Plus, with all due respect, putting the pictures up is pretty much as much effort as I'm willing to invest in this little endeavour. If it gets to be 'work' I'll pass, thanks.

I claim no copyright over the images posted so far (or indeed any of those posted here in the future) - if someone wants to trawl the pages and put them up on Flickr or wherever, feel free.

Even the numbers aren't worth posting - far too simple

Off the front page of Meeting Place? It's an outrage. Anyway, keeping it simple today...

Apologies for the cropping on the numbers - don't blame me, blame the Channel 4 camerman - that's the top of the shot on screen. In case people can't tell, the total required is 277.

^ Better.

I think part of the problem with the thread is that the Countdown pics are very repetitive. Having done a few screen captures from the show myself, you quickly realise that that the camera set ups are going to be the same and that Rachel does everything in a very similar manner each day. It's very rare that anything different happens and so there isn't the variety there might otherwise be.
