I think they could cast Mel Gibson as Riggs. He's as mad as a badger these days anyway.

That rumour's been circulating for a good few years now.
I can't see Hollywood not revisiting that series of films sometime soon.

Every remake seems to get slated by everyone here (me included) before they are produced, but are there any films that you think should be remade?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

The one that springs immediately to my mind is Supergirl.

Also, having just re-watched it very recently, Logan's Run should be given the remake treatment.

I can see Logan's Run worthy of a remake.

Aside from Jenny Agutter, the original has no redeeming qualities.
I understand the times in which it was made, but that doesn't excuse the very bad story telling in that film.

Yes, you can, that's happening.

Thank you, Alex.
I was wondering who would be the first to comment about that.
Apparently Whedon fans are apoplectic that he's been totally shut out of the film making process regarding this. The woman in charge does seem to know what she's doing though.

Bollocks. I didn't comment because it's not just Whedon who's not interested....

Heh. Don't shoot the messenger.
I liked Buffy on TV. I'm pretty sure I've seen every single episode of the show, but I don't hold it in an ivory tower. While I like everything that Joss has done on TV his film work has left a lot to be desired, mainly I think because Hollywood works differently with films than it does with TV.
Joss isn't going to get the level of creativity with films like he had with TV.

You don't like white-on-black?
I find it easier to read than the more traditional black-on-white.
