Okay, I'm going to guess "more" is the missing word, just before "Gregg's". :)

Yes I forgot to add more.

Not something to be proud of really though is it.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

What? That a British purveyor of stodge has more stores than an American one? I think that's something to be proud of.

And it is not just stodge but bread and cakes as well.

Something I learnt some time ago but remembered today, after being woken at 03:30 by a friend who pushed the redial button on his phone when he cancelled his alarm.

If you turn off a Nokia phone, if the alarm is set then it still goes off. Great if you don't have much battery left, or you don't want to be disturbed in your sleep.

Most modern students learn that during their first public examination.

I think all my mobiles since I first got one 10 years ago have done that.

I've owned Nokias for six years, and that's the first I've heard of it. Not a mention in the manual that I recall. :?

Same here, until I got a really expensive smart phone with poor battery life...

Alarm goes off, phone comes on. It's so obviously useful I'm sure there must be an app for it :?

I quite like Greggs. Given the choice, I rather eat sausage rolls or pasties than big macs.

Today I learnt that I may or may not have been arrested in New York, and that I allegedly work for the mafia... ;)

Just think of all that lost nutrition from the fresh bread and veg you would get with a big mac.

Plus the fact that I can undo all the harm to my body by ordering a diet coke with my supersized meal. ;)
